Larry 7 dies on change location

I`m using your installer to install and play L7
After i play some minutes it dies on change location through the ship map.
Alert
Error opening resource 38000.snd (or other number of resource)
Use ENTER to retry
ESC to quit
ENTER doesn`t help
ESC will return next error
Panic
Sorry...

I had a similar problem. Couldn't get into the casino. I got around it by using an image program. The problem seems to be accessing the CD-ROM drive. You can get around this like so:
1. Download an image program such a "Daemon Tools" or "Virtual CD" to make a Virtual CD-ROM drive
2. Create image of you Leisure Suit Larry 7 disc.
2. Insert the Virtual Disc into a Virtual Drive.
3. Run SquirtTheCat's installer and remove Leisure Suit Larry 7. (Your saved games will be safe.)
4. Run SquirtTheCat's installer and re-install Leisure Suit Larry 7 BUT MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IT FROM THE VIRTUAL DRIVE.
5. That's it! Run the game and all should be well.

As I answered in the other thread, no need for Daemon Tools for the SCI games for disc access problems. Anyway, disc access problems are common among older games. The way older Operating Systems accessed optical drives is different than newer ones. Games that used the old DOS MSCDEX extension can be especially problematic. This is why the ScummVM devs usually recommend that all of the games data files be copied to the hard drive to avoid play from the CD. The DOSBox devs usually recommend the use of imgmount of disc images when there are CD access errors.
