Repedative crash

Hi, i just started playing this game again last night, thanks to your installer!
When playing the second map in the new campaign (central america), when i attempt to enter a battle, the game crashes. Every time i re-load the game, the same thing happens!
most of the time when i enter a battle, all the units are shoved into a corner, i assume its from a map loading error?
Anyone else having this problem?
