How do i use the downloaded executable?

i am assuming it is something that i should copy and paste into the install directory of LORDS2 and the run the program, i did all this. However, a small cmd window opened for a fraction of a second before closing down and then nothing happened. After some tries i managed to see a line in the cmd window saying something about not enough memory?.

what i need here is a step by step on what to do.

The file is a windows installer... simply run and it will install.

You do not need to copy files anywhere.

well thats the thing, it doesn't work, i installed LOTR2 and siege pack plus their respective updates as per the instructions. Does it have something to do with the CUE file im using on alcohol?..because my original cd set went unreadable a few years back and i only have the image files left.
