Why eliminate black lines from cut-scenes? Was that really necessary? I used to play this game when I was a kid and playing it now without the black lines just feels kinda off... Those black lines gave the animations a sort of somber style and texture that was quite unique, I think. Playing the game without them feels less like a movie and more like Monkey Island. Maybe there's a technical reason for eliminating them, I don't know. I just miss them, that's all. I mean, c'mon... Check this out: http://youtu.be/IqKZrZzUrqE - Classic! 8-)

You could just use the DOSBox installer to play the game with the interlacing.
